A.J. graduated from the University of San Diego in 2010, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and began working at Battaglia & Waltari in June 2012, where he worked as a legal assistant for two years. A.J. then graduated from California Western School of Law, in the top half of his class, with a J.D. in April 2017 and returned to Battaglia & Waltari in August 2017. A.J. has taken an interest in the areas of special needs planning and estate planning. He is also a Notary Public. A.J. enjoys biking, tennis, and golf as well as spending time with his family, especially his fiancé.
Bronson DeKoning | Attorney at Battaglia & Waltari
Bronson joined the law office of Battaglia & Waltari in 2019 as a trusts & estates attorney, serving clients with comprehensive estate planning, special needs trusts, trust administration, and probate. Bronson has been a member of the California Bar since 2011. He earned his law degree from New England School of Law in 2011 and undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Hawaii in 2007. During law school, Bronson was a law clerk for the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board and served as an editor for the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. Bronson lectures on estate planning and special needs trust and enjoys many outdoor activities including basketball, sailing, scuba diving, hiking, and camping.
Leslie Autry | California Licensed Professional Fiduciary
Leslie A. Autry, a private professional fiduciary licensed in 2013, is a graduate of San Diego State University with a BA degree. She is licensed as a Professional Fiduciary by the state of California. Leslie is a member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC).
Leslie has been working in the non-profit sector for the past 40 years providing programs and services to people with disabilities. Employed at The Arc of San Diego for eighteen years, Leslie worked as an Instructor, Director of REACH (Recreational Experiences and Challenges), Special Events Administrator, Foundation Administrator, and Director of Development. For the past 25 years, Leslie has been with the Special Needs Trust Foundation, providing administrative and fiduciary services to the SNTF Board of Directors, Special Needs Trust Beneficiaries, and the San Diego County community with the administration of the special needs trusts and educational seminars.
Leslie provides Trust Administration, acts as Power of Attorney for financial matters, and estate liquidation. She specializes in Special Needs Trusts
She has called San Diego County home for 40+ years and has been blessed with two children. She enjoys gardening, photography, and spending time with her family.
